Mayor Bloomberg’s Refusal on NYC mosque info speaks volumes

“An attorney who has been front and center in the effort to stop the construction of the proposed “9/11 mega-mosque” in New York City says Mayor Bloomberg’s office has refused to hand over important documents that reveal his inappropriate involvement with the mosque developers.

“What we learned from those documents, as we suspected, is that the mayor’s office was very much involved in this process and that they were very much involved in helping the owners of this particular building shepherd through the political process,” reports Brett Joshpe, the New York-based attorney handling the lawsuit filed by the ACLJ.

But he points out that what the mayor’s office would not release is perhaps more significant.”

Council on American-Islamic Relations urges leaders of US Mosques to pursue Homeland Security grants

CAIR urges Muslim clerics to cash in on federal funds

“While the European Union investigates mosques for ties to Islamic terrorism, the U.S. government is giving mosques security grants that are designed to protect churches, synagogues and other nonprofit groups from Islamic terror.

Most recently, the Islamic Society of Baltimore landed a $15,000 grant from the Department of Homeland Security to upgrade security at its Maryland mosque.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations since April has been urging leaders of mosques and Islamic schools across the nation to apply for the DHS grants, even though the agency’s program was set up to help protect nonprofit facilities that are at high risk for attacks by Islamic terrorists.

Ground Zero imam appeals to ‘one of the chief conduits’ for bringing Saudi-style Islam into U.S.

Ground Zero imam kicks off tour at Hamas conspirator banquet

Appeals to ‘one of the chief conduits’ for bringing Saudi-style Islam into U.S.

“Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, the Muslim cleric behind a plan to build an Islamic center two blocks from the site of the 9/11 attacks, is kicking off a nationwide speaking tour by addressing the banquet of a group that is an unindicted co-conspirator in a scheme to raise money for Hamas.

Rauf’s first appearance is scheduled for Detroit, the city with North America’s largest Muslim population, on Jan. 15. Rauf is scheduled to deliver the keynote address to the so-called “Diversity Forum Banquet” of the Islamic Society of North America, or ISNA.

ISNA is known for its enforcement of Saudi-style Islam in mosques throughout the U.S. It was named by the Justice Department as an unindicted co-conspirator in its case against the Holy Land Foundation in Texas, which was found guilty in 2008 of raising money for the Hamas terrorist organization. Last year, Holy Land founders were given life sentences for “funneling $12 million to Hamas.

Rauf had previously refused to condemn Hamas in a radio interview.”

Coptic church bombing: deadliest attack on Egyptian Christians in recent memory

“A devastating New Year’s Day terrorist bombing at a Coptic church in Egypt that killed 21 people was the latest in a spate of violent assaults against the Middle East’s vulnerable Christian communities.”

Fort Hood Killer: “Muslim first and and American second”

“He would frequently say that he was a Muslim first and and American second.”

I wonder how many other Muslims in the US feel this way? I don’t know – do you? Are we being “Islamophobic” to be concerned about that? Is it a phobia, an irrational, disabling fear – a mental disorder? Or is it a pretty reasonable response to a very dangerous and nebulous buy real threat?

One of his co-workers says, “We questioned how somebody could take an oath of office be an officer in the military and swear allegiance to the Constitution and to defend America against all enemies foreign and domestic, and have that type of conflict.”

How could he take that oath? Easy. It is a lie to an infidel nation and had absolutely no significance to him. Just another example of taqiyya, the freedom to lie to non-Muslims when it is expedient or furthers the cause of Islam. How many times does this have to happen before we start to get it?

Muslim first and and American second. That is a ticking time bomb – and we have them building mosques all over our country.

No, Katie Couric, a Muslim sit-com will not solve the problem.

Here’s a helpful tip: certain phrases are pretty good indicators that someone is trying to pull a fast one on you, bullshit you with propoganda.

“xenophobia”

“Islamophobia”

“religious hatred”

“bigotry”

There is a concerted effort to sanitize Islam in the US, to gloss over – even suppress – Americans’ legitimate concerns about the negative effects that Islam has had in so many nations where it has grown in numbers and influence.

This effort to sanitize Islam involves a three-pronged approach:
1. Try to make you feel guilty for objecting to the oppressive, hateful teachings of the Koran and Islam by calling you a bigot if you object.
2. Try to package Islam in a way that you will think it is harmless, not a threat, so that you will not see how dangerous it is until it is too late
3. Aggressively push back and shout down anyone who opposes Islam.

Understand, these are all expressions of the core driving force of  Islam: the Koran clearly teaches that Islam is the only true religion, and that lying, oppressing and killing are all justified if they help in reaching the prophesied goal of the entire world  submitting (or being forced to submit) to the teachings of the Koran.

So, when you hear someone in the media talking about “xenophobia”, this is a ploy to make you shut up, to stop expressing legitimate concerns about the hate-promoting aspects of Islam.

Katie Couric recently referred to  the ”seething hatred many people feel towards all Muslims.” Where? Have you seen seething hatred against Muslims?I haven’t. I’ve seen concern, even fear. I’ve seen resentment and mistrust (gee, I wonder why, when their holy book tells them it’s OK to lie to us if it helps Islam?)

This is the seething hatred I’ve seen:

So, good grief, I will laugh in your face if you call me “Islamophobic”. Muslims openly shout about beheading, butchering, slaying those who disagree and you think I’m just imagining things?

This is another strategy of those trying to push Islam on us: they make outrageous statements (such as accusing people: “You’re a bigot!” when Islam is the most bigoted religious/political ideology on the planet.) they make those outrageous statements and then push so aggressively that anyone who objects backs down – and submits – in effect capitulating to Sharia Law, which prohibits any criticism of Islam

Let’s be clear: I do not hate Muslims.

I am not judging millions of people based on the actions of a relatively small number who kill and destroy. I am not putting the quiet lady in a burqa shopping at Costco in the same box as the guy who straps explosives to a woman in a burqa.

I am not judging people, I am objecting to what the book teaches people to do and how the book teaches people to think.

So, repeat: I do not hate Muslim people. I do, however, hate it when someone oppresses others, shoves their way as the only true way, and steamrolls anyone who disagrees.

Don’t play the “Religious Freedom”card on me. I do not have to accept Islam in order to promote religious freedom. In fact, it is exactly because I value freedom of religion (or freedom to have no religion at all) that I must reject Islam strongly, because Islam tramples on religious freedom anywhere it has sufficient numbers and power to do so.

Islam is tolerant until.

Until it has enough political and financial power to insist on it’s own way over any other.

Look at the recent “Rally” in Pakistan over the “Blasphemy Law”.

What is the Blasphemy Law? Well, if you disagree with Islam or any of its teachings, in any way, that is Blasphemy and Pakistani Muslims want that to be punishable by Law. Does that sound like religious freedom to you? The truth is, it’s not a Blasphemy Law, it’s an “Any other religion or world view besides Islam is evil and must be crushed” Law

“ISLAMABAD, Pakistan — A crippling strike by Islamist parties brought Pakistan to a standstill on Friday as thousands of people took to the streets, and forced businesses to close, to head off any change in the country’s blasphemy law, which rights groups say has been used to persecute minorities, especially Christians.”

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/01/01/world/asia/01pakistan.html?_r=2

You see, the media is not going to present this as, “Pakistani Bigots lobby to make all other religions except Islam invalid.”

Besides, when Muslims oppress other religions, in their minds they are not being bigoted rather, they are punishing blasphemy, because Islam is right and all other religions are wrong.

This is why I say, if you are for religious freedom you must be against Islam – because Islam is against religious freedom, and when it gains power it uses that power to suppress all other religions. Don’t buy the scam that “Islam is a religion, just like all the other religions.”

No, it’s not. It clearly, openly teaches oppression and domination and it has a track record of hundreds of years of oppression and domination. Yeah, yeah, “But Christianity has oppressed people too!”

They are not the same. It’s like the difference between dropping a rock and dropping a bomb.

Islam has already gained a significant foothold in the US, and is beginning to use that clout to pressure American media, politicians and businesses. It’s being served to you under the guise of political correctness and “religious freedom”.

Katie Couric: ‘Maybe we need a Muslim version of “The Cosby Show”‘

“CBS anchor Katie Couric believes a “Muslim version of ‘The Cosby Show’” could open the eyes of Americans and perhaps put an end to all the ”seething hatred many people feel towards all Muslims.”

On her CBSNews.com web show, Couric discussed 2010 in review with a panel, and among Couric’s biggest concerns about 2010 was the controversy surrounding the Park51 Islamic Cultural Center project.

“The bigotry expressed against Muslims in this country has been one of the most disturbing stories to surface,” Couris said. “Of course, a lot of noise was made about the Islamic Center, mosque, down near the World Trade Center, but I think there wasn’t enough sort of careful analysis and evaluation of where this bigotry toward 1.5 billion Muslims worldwide, and how this seething hatred many people feel for all Muslims, which I think is so misdirected, and so wrong — and so disappointing.”

Here, let’s just fix this once and for all, here’s what would “put an end to” the fears and concerns of Americans: for Muslims to show us with their actions that they are truly tolerant and that they reject the violent, hateful, oppressive sections of the Koran.

I do not have seething hatred for all Muslims. Go ahead, pray to Allah, do your rituals, speak whatever language you like, dress however you like. Just do this one thing and I will be fine: take out every word in the Koran that advocates killing, oppressing, taxing, mis-treating Jews, Christians or unbelievers. Show us how important religious freedom is to you. Repudiate those parts of the book, take ’em out.

This will never happen. Ever. Because they won’t say it to your face (yet) but although they won’t say it openly because they know how you would feel about it, they do believe that Islam is in American not to assimilate but to dominate.

You should be afraid of that. It would not be a good thing for America.

Folks, it’s not bigotry to be offended by Islam. Objecting to Islam is expressing revulsion at an ideology that, if it could, would trample everything we hold dear.

A Christian priest faces grim New Year in Iraq

Father Nadheer Dako, left, leads mourners as they carry in the coffin of Fawzi Rahim, 76, for funeral Mass at St. George Chaldean Church in Baghdad. (Khalid Mohammed, Associated Press / December 31, 2010)

Father Nadheer Dako’s flock in Baghdad is shrinking, some having long fled the turmoil and others falling victim to a recent rise in anti-Christian violence. On the last day of 2010 he buries an elderly couple targeted in a bombing.

Dako, 38, is used to living with death. He had become accustomed to danger even before an Oct. 31 siege by Islamic militants at another Baghdad church that left 58 people dead and ushered in a new campaign of attacks against Iraq’s Christian minority.”

His response? Angry threats of revenge and violence? Cries for rioting in the street?

No. His response was:

“God is the light and peace,” he said. “Protect the dignity of all, Muslims, Christians, Yazidis, Shabak, Sudanis, Pakistanis.”

This is not a pitch for any particular religion – or any religion for that matter. This is simply to point out these are the kind of people the world needs, whatever they might believe or not believe about God: people who are willing and able to get along with others, even if they disagree sharply.

Five Muslims Arrested in Plot to Attack Danish Paper – for publishing a Cartoon.

Building housing the Jyllands-Posten newspaper in Copenhagen, 29 Dec 2010

“Authorities in Denmark and Sweden have arrested five people suspected of plotting to attack a Danish newspaper that published controversial cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed five years ago.

There have since been several foiled plots to attack the newspaper and cartoonist Kurt Westergaard, who drew one of the most controversial of the Prophet Mohammed cartoons.

Westergard now lives with police protection. But in several interviews over the past few year years, including one broadcast on Canadian television, he has been unapologetic about his work.

“I think, simply, I have done my job,” he said. “It is my job to be a cartoonist and perhaps now and then to make controversial things.”

Westergaard told a Danish newspaper he expected more attacks in the future.”

http://www.voanews.com/english/news/Danish-Security-Foils-Imminent-Terror-Attack-112603439.html

Do NOT talk to me about Islam being a tolerant religion. There is no freedom of speech, if you disagree with Islam openly the punishment is death. This has not changed in hundreds of years. The more Islam you allow in your country, the more intolerance you have invited to your shores.

This cartoonist now has to live with police protection from Muslims that are intent on killing him. A cartoonist in the US had to go into witness protection, change her identity. In the United States. For fear of being murdered by Muslims.

Religion of Peace, my a**.

Islamist group claims responsibility for Nigerian bombings

BAUCHI, Nigeria — The radical Islamist sect Boko Haram said on Tuesday it was behind the Christmas holiday bombings in central Nigeria and attacks on churches in the northeast of the country in which at least 86 people died.

Police said 80 people were killed in Christmas Eve bomb attacks…

“O Nations of the World, be assured that the attacks in Suldaniyya [Jos] and Borno on the eve of Christmas were carried out by us, Jama’atu Ahlus-Sunnah Lidda’Awatu Wal Jihad, under the leadership of Abu Muhammad, Abubakar bin Muhammad Shekau,” a statement said on the group’s website.

Boko Haram — which in the Hausa language spoken across northern Nigeria means “Western education is sinful” — is loosely modelled on the Taliban movement in Afghanistan.

It became active in around 2003 and is primarily concentrated in the northern states of Yobe, Kano, Bauchi, Borno and Kaduno.

The group considers anyone not following its strict ideology, whether Christian or Muslim, as infidels. Its followers wear long beards and red or black headscarves. It wants sharia law more widely applied across Africa’s most populous nation.

Fake Bomb, Real Terror: Scare Empties Stockholm metro station

“Authorities were on high alert as the incident occurred less than two weeks after the country’s first suicide bombing.

“It looked like a real bomb. Someone made it to frighten people,” said Stockholm police spokesman Henrik Billestam.

Police described the packet as a object about the size of a milk carton, wrapped with silver adhesive tape with cables connected to a mobile phone.

On Thursday night police completely evacuated the Kungsträdsgården metro station and sent in deminers after a train driver alerted authorities to the possible threat.

The metro station is close to the seat of government in the Swedish capital.

Sweden has been on alert since December 11 when a suicide bomber, strongly believed to be Taimour Abdulwahab, first blew up his car and later himself near a crowded pedestrian street in central Stockholm.

He was carrying a cocktail of explosives and police suspect he may have left the crowd of Christmas shoppers due to a problem with the bombs when he mistakenly set off a small charge while standing in an empty side-street.”

The greater presence Islam has in a nation, the greater the threat to its citizens. The “peaceful”, “moderate” followers provide cover and silent support.

Is the obligation of an Open Society to the safety of its citizens more important than saying, “Yes” to any toxic group that wants to infiltrate their society?
