Chuck Norris on the threat of Islam

“… the despicable precepts of Islamic Shariah law continue to insinuate themselves into Western democracies. It should be noted that Shariah calls for the eventual submission of the planet by means of jihad and subterfuge.

Shariah allows for the execution of apostates, homosexuals, women who commit adultery and people who are the unfortunate recipients of a fatwa issued by an Islamic cleric. The backward system that includes polygamy and child marriages completely contradicts both democratic principles and Judeo-Christian precepts of morality and ethics.

Yet in the same way the Communist atrocities were ignored in the past, much of our liberal elites and liberal governments seem to be giving the Islamic terrorists and the creeping phenomena of Islamic cultural hegemony a pass.

Examples abound but two will suffice to illustrate this point. A liberal judge has invalidated an attempt by the people of Oklahoma to ban Shariah law as a factor in the crafting of American judicial decisions in their state. The judge argued that the ban would discriminate against Muslims.

This illogical decision erodes the separation of church and state, a concept that was once revered by the left. The possibility of Shariah law entering into the American system of jurisprudence, or for that matter any outside legal system, is a troubling development, especially in these times when many judges have forgotten that their function is to uphold the Constitution against all infringements and nothing more.

The other example I will mention, an example that is emblematic of a growing international phenomenon, is a decision that has just been rendered by a judge in Austria who has banned yodeling, an Austrian tradition, because of a complaint from a Muslim who claimed that yodeling is offensive to his religion.

This is an example of a creeping informal cultural dictatorship.

It took a world war to defeat the Nazis and a Cold War to defeat the Soviet Communists. The Islamic terrorists, perhaps learning lessons from the mistakes made by those twin terrorist movements, are now playing a new and potentially more lethal game. It is time to consider the nature of the enemy and to respond accordingly.”

Wikileaks – U.S. government is deeply concerned that terrorist organizations are gaining a foothold in Latin America

The U.S. government is deeply concerned Iran and the Hezbollah terrorist organizations are gaining a foothold in Latin America, according to classified documents released by WikiLeaks and reviewed by WND.

Among the concerns is that Iranian-backed militants may attempt to infiltrate the U.S. or use Latin America as a staging ground for anti-American attacks, it has emerged.

Also, the U.S. caught Iran shipping explosives and attempting to ship unmanned aerial vehicles to Venezuela, the cables revealed.

Among the concerns expressed in the January 2009 cable revealed by WikiLeaks:

  • “Does Tehran have any intention of using the region (Latin America) as a staging ground for potential terrorist attacks, either directly or through surrogates?”
  • “Are any persons affiliated with the Iranian government making contingency preparations to create networks for potential terrorist activities later? If so, what sort of activities?”
  • “Are Iranian officials attempting to access U.S. territory or U.S. private firms via Latin America?”
  • “Is Iran supporting terrorist activities in Latin America?”
  • “Is it responsible for supporting or training illegal armed groups in Columbia or elsewhere?”
  • “Is Iran facilitating lethal aid for its allies or working to establish new terrorist infrastructure in the region?”

“Washington analysts assess that Tehran is reaching out to Latin American countries in order to reduce its diplomatic isolation and increase ties to leftist countries in the region that Tehran perceives may share its anti-U.S. agenda,” read a cable from the State Department. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s office posed a number of questions for responses from “Iran watchers and the Iran Regional Presence Office.”

WND reported in May 2010 that hundreds of illegal aliens from countries known to support and sponsor terrorism were sneaking across the U.S.-Mexico border.

The report cited documentation of illegal aliens from Afghanistan, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Sudan and Yemen. Other illegals were from Armenia, Bosnia, Ghana, Jordan, Kenya, Morocco, Sudan, Uzbekistan, Botswana and Turkey.

Based on U.S. Border Patrol statistics, there were
30,147 [illegals other than Mexicans] apprehended in fiscal year 2003;
44, 614 in fiscal year 2004;
165,178 in fiscal year 2005; and
108,025 in fiscal year 2006.

Most were caught along the U.S. Southwest border.”

Varanasi, India: Islamist militants claim credit for explosion that killed a child and wounded more than 20

Onlookers stand at the site of a blast in the northern Indian city of Varanasi December 7. The blast outside a temple injured several people, including Hindu worshippers, and caused a small stampede on Tuesday, triggering a security alert across the country. Stringer/Reuters

“Islamist militants are being blamed for an explosion that killed at least one person and wounded more than 20 others at one of Hinduism’s holiest sites Tuesday evening.

The blast went off during a Hindu ceremony by the river Ganges in Varanasi, an ancient pilgrimage city in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh at around 6:45 pm. Police were immediately put on high alert in India’s big cities.

Several television channels and newspapers said they had received e-mails from an Islamist militant group, the Indian Mujahadeen (IM), claiming it was behind the blast.”

Islamic Deception: Islamic website tied to MP’s stabbing resurfaces under new name

Roshonara Choudry (L), the British Muslim jailed for life for stabbing Stephen Timms, identified RevolutionMuslim as an inspiration for her actions Photo: PA

“A radical US-based Islamic website shut down last month after allegedly helping to inspire the stabbing of a Labour MP has resurfaced with a new name.

Younus Abdullah Muhammad, a founder of both sites, told The Daily Telegraph that IslamPolicy.com was the direct successor to RevolutionMuslim.com which was closed amid the furore over its role in the attack on Stephen Timms, MP for East Ham.

“IslamPolicy will continue with the work of RevolutionMuslim,” Mr Muhammad, a white American convert to Islam, said during an interview in which he called the Sept 11 terror attacks “justified violence”.

He continued: “If loving Muslims that fight and die to defend themselves from Western imperialism make the UK and US governments associate me or IslamPolicy with terrorists, then I am honoured to be so associated.”

Tell me, when was the last time you heard of a Lutheran stabbing someone? or a Buddhist? It is incredible how blind some multi-culturalist, possibly well-meaning but naive folks can be, to ignore the clear link – the clear and present danger – of Islam.

Yeah, yeah, yeah: not all Muslims are extremists. How do we tell them apart? How do we keep them from teaching violent, treasonous poison in their mosques? How do we even know what they are saying?

In the US, they tell us, ““Tension grows between Calif. Muslims, FBI after informant infiltrates mosque.”

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/gallery/2010/12/04/GA2010120404247.html

I’m not saying everything the FBI does is perfect, but please, Muslim followers, what do you expect?

If you find the tension uncomfortable here, may I suggest you find a cozy Islamic Republic somewhere? There are many flavors to chose from. You will be much more comfortable – and so will we. In the meantime, don’t whine about “profiling” when there is such a clear link between Islam and violence.

Ah, but I realize you don’t want to find a cozy Islamic Republic somewhere. For one thing, the US and Europe are so much more comfortable, pleasant – reasonable. But even more important to some of you, you are on a mission: the conviction of your faith drives you to expand Islam, raise large families, and shove the kaffur out of your way.

You make no apologies for this because you are convinced that this is your right, because Allah through his prophet has told you. So you’ll put up with some tension, and then whine loudly about what victims you are, how you are being singled out, but this whining, playing the victim, is part of a conscious plan to consolidate and expand your power base.

OK, sure, not all Muslims are violent, that gives us some hope, but the violent ones are eclipsing the silent moderates.

I don’t blame moderates for staying quiet, because if they spoke up they’d probably be killed. They’ve seen it happen many, many, many times before. Plenty of historical precedent for that. See how effective terrorism is? They’ve cowed hundreds of millions of Muslims who reject violence, who skip over the sections of the Koran that call for hate.

Or do they? Are they really against hatred and bigotry or are they quietly sitting back and letting their radical fellow-Muslims do the dirty work and quietly approving? How would we know? Who do they vote for? Who do they send money to? Whose directions do they follow? Where does their loyalty lie? How can we trust them?

So how can they blame us for wanting to minimize the impact and growth of Islam?

They can’t blame us, but it’s irrelevant because what you and I want is irrelevant: we are kafir, “infidels” here to be converted or subjugated. Dominated not accepted, much less respected. Respect for beliefs we disagree with is one of our values. That is not their value, and it is dangerous for us to project that upon them, expect them to act the way we would act. It only blinds us, makes us vulnerable to the deceit they masterfully use, through decades of practice, to promote the worldwide umma.

PEW Research Center: Muslims Divided on Hamas and Hezbollah

“Muslims in Nigeria and in nearly all of the predominantly Muslim countries surveyed overwhelmingly welcome Islamic influence over their countries’ politics.

Many Muslims see a struggle between groups that want to modernize their countries and Islamic fundamentalists, and in five of the seven countries where the question was asked, more of those who see a struggle identify with the modernizers than with fundamentalists.

Extremist groups Hamas and Hezbollah continue to receive mixed ratings from Muslim publics. However, opinions of al Qaeda and its leader, Osama bin Laden, are consistently negative; only in Nigeria do Muslims offer views that are, on balance, positive toward al Qaeda and bin Laden.

Hezbollah receives its most positive ratings in Jordan, where 55% of Muslims have a favorable view; a slim majority (52%) of Lebanese Muslims also support the group, which operates politically and militarily in their country.

The survey also finds that Muslim publics overwhelmingly welcome Islamic influence over their countries’ politics. In Egypt, Pakistan and Jordan, majorities of Muslims who say Islam is playing a large role in politics see this as a good thing, while majorities of those who say Islam is playing only a small role say this is bad for their country.

When asked for their views about democracy, majorities in most of the Muslim communities surveyed say that democracy is preferable to any other kind of government.

Many Muslims see a struggle between those who want to modernize their country and Islamic fundamentalists.

At least three-quarters of Muslims in Egypt and Pakistan say they would favor making each of the following the law in their countries: stoning people who commit adultery, whippings and cutting off of hands for crimes like theft and robbery and the death penalty for those who leave the Muslim religion. Majorities of Muslims in Jordan and Nigeria also favor these harsh punishments.

Eight-in-ten Muslims in Pakistan say suicide bombing and other acts of violence against civilian targets in order to defend Islam from its enemies are never justified”
