Are Americans waking up to the threat of Islam?

A PUBLIC discussion of mainstream Islam has finally begun in earnest in mainstream America. Some people thought it would take a nuclear bomb going off in downtown Manhattan. Nobody anticipated something as simple as a proposed mosque.

We’re waking up. Non-Muslims are gaining an unfavorable view of Islam. The more people learn about it, the more people have an unfavorable view, of course. If you are a non-Muslim and learn anything about Islamic doctrine, you will have an “unfavorable view” of Islam. What is there to like about the Muslim imperative to subjugate non-Muslims if you’re a non-Muslim?

And now mainstream attention has been focused once again on Islam. Let us do our best to successfully introduce as many people as possible to some solid, fundamental information about it.

Islam and the Golden Rule

Islam presents itself as a positive religion, but in fact, it does not even value that most basic spiritual principle, the Golden Rule: Do to others what you would have them do to you.

Many people are deceived because they only look at the surface, they don’t take the time to really find out what Islam teaches. It’s easier to just lump it in with “all those other religions”.

This is a dangerous thing to do, because it blinds people to the very real threat of Islam.

  6. Muslims fire 4,000 Katyusha/Stinger rockets into Northern Israel killing over 50 innocent civilians, and………… Expect no criticism!

  12. Muslims force women to wear hideous conical sacks, stone to death for getting raped and for leaving their homes unescorted, engage in honor-killing of sisters and daughters for unapproved dating/marriages, and…… Expect no criticism!
  13. Muslims danced in the streets and handed out sweets to their kids to celebrate the 9/11 atrocity, and……… Expect no Criticism!
  14. Since 9/11, Muslims have killed over 26,000 and wounded over 150,000 in terrorist attacks worldwide, and………… Still Expect no Criticism!
  15. Since 9/11 Muslims have committed terrorist attacks in Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Belgium, Chad, Chechnya, Dagestan, Denmark, East Timor, Egypt, England, Eritrea, Ethiopia, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Ingushetia, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Jordan-Iraq, Kabardino-Balkans, Kenya, Kosovo, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Mauritania, Morocco, Netherlands, Nigeria, Pakistan, Gaza-Palestinian Authority, Philippines, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Scotland, Somalia, Spain, Sri Lanka , Sudan , Syria , Tajikistan, Thailand , Tunisia , Turkey , United Arab Emirates, United Arab Republic , United States , Uzbekistan and Yemen, and………… STILL Expect No Criticism!

Maybe the most tragic thing is this: it seems to be working for them. People are afraid to criticize. Think about that: what other “religion” on the planet is so violent that it makes people think, “I can’t say that, they might murder my children”?

We have Freedom in the West, sure – but that does not make us free to hurt or harm others. We have Freedom of Religion, yes – but that does not mean we have to accept a violent, abusive, domineering ideology just because it’s cloaked in religion.

Saudi employer hammers 18 heated nails into his Sri Lankan maid

An X-ray shows nails hammered into the body of a Sri Lankan maid.

Colombo, Sri Lanka (CNN) — Doctors at a Sri Lankan hospital operated for three hours Friday to remove 18 nails and metal particles allegedly hammered into the arms, legs and forehead of a maid by her Saudi employer.

She was held down by her employer’s wife while the employer hammered the heated nails … She apparently had complained to the couple that she was being overworked.

Ariyawathie, 49, is a mother of two children who were opposed to their mother’s journey to Saudi Arabia for work.

Many of the [Saudi] domestic workers are poor Asian women from Sri Lanka, Indonesia, India, Bangladesh, the Philippines and Nepal. Widespread abuse has been documented by global human rights groups.

Common complaints include unpaid wages, long working hours with no time for rest, and heavy debt burdens from exorbitant recruitment fees, said the Human Rights Watch report.

Isolation and forced confinement contribute to psychological and physical abuse, sexual violence, forced labor, and trafficking, the report said. The abuse often goes unchecked because of a lack of government regulation and protective laws.

I just don’t understand why narrow-minded, xenophobic, Islamophobic Americans are so unwilling to embrace Islam.

Ground Zero Mosque’s Muslim Opponents

Defenders of the proposed Ground Zero mosque are quick to write off opponents as bigots simply out to stir up hatred of Muslims.While some of the rhetoric is excessive, the blanket dismissal hides a more difficult challenge for mosque advocates: A growing number of Muslims openly oppose the project too. Some agree it’s the wrong place, while others are increasingly critical of what they see as tone-deaf and clumsy leadership from mosque planners.

…An American Muslim, one who believes in his or her American identity first, could not possibly hope to do that near the place where fellow citizens were murdered by Islamic mobsters seeking vanity and infamy for their crimes.”
