Returned runaways are often shot or stabbed in honor killings because the families fear they have spent time unchaperoned with a man. Women and girls are still stoned to death. Those who burn themselves but survive are often relegated to grinding Cinderella existences while their husbands marry other, untainted women.

“Updated | 1:57 p.m. In a new video message posted on a jihadist Web forum on Monday, Anwar al-Awlaki, an American-born cleric based in Yemen whose most inflammatory sermons were withdrawn from YouTube last week, said that the killing of Americans by Muslims requires no special sanction.

According to The Associated Press, Mr. Awlaki told jihadists in his latest, Arabic-language video: “Don’t consult with anybody in killing the Americans, fighting the devil doesn’t require consultation or prayers seeking divine guidance. They are the party of the devils.”

SAN DIEGO — The arrest of the leader of a City Heights mosque, a man described as a revered figure who was known for advocating nonviolence and tolerance, has stunned the close-knit Somali community in City Heights, where many refugees of the war-torn country live, work and pray.

Mohamed Mohamed Mohamud, 38, appeared in federal court Wednesday to answer to charges that he was involved in a conspiracy to provide money and other aid to al-Shabaab in Somalia, which U.S. authorities have designated a foreign terrorist organization.

This is a foundation of the idea that believers may legitimately deceive unbelievers when under pressure… For instance, Al-Bukhari recorded that Abu Ad-Darda’ said, ‘We smile in the face of some people although our hearts curse them.’

Mohamud is married and has several children, Hassan said Wednesday.

“He is the center of the community here,” Hassan said. “Everyone likes him. When anyone needs help, he is the first person to help. His arrest was very shocking. He is a godfather person to the community.”…

Americans need to understand this:

The word of a Muslim to a non-Muslim cannot be trusted – not because Muslims are bad people, but because of what the Koran and their religious leaders teach them, that is not only OK, but even a good thing to lie in order to promote Islam. Because of this, the promises and oaths of the followers of Islam cannot be trusted.

1. Their allegiance is to Allah and the Koran – they can pledge allegiance to the United States, but you cannot rely on their words being true.

2. They are taught that it is OK to lie to infidels

Don’t let yourselves be intimidated:

It is not a phobia to be concerned about Islam – a phobia is irrational, this is a very real threat.

“In the UK a name other than Mohammed is the current top name for newborn boys. Until that is one takes into account the FOURTEEN different spellings of that name (caused by illiteracy?) At that point M becomes the top name for newborn males.

Should we be scared? You bet.”

It is not bigotry to object to a system that teaches followers that non-Muslims are inferior and can be killed or subjugated.

It is not hatred to reject a political/religious structure that aims to erode and subvert American freedom.

“Islam is a political religion; the idea of a separation of Mosque and state is unheard of in the Muslim world. Islam has a doctrine of warfare, Jihad, which is fought in order to establish Islamic (“Sharia”) Law, which is, by nature, totalitarian.

Sharia Law calls for, among other things: the dehumanization of women; the flogging/stoning/killing of adulterers; and the killing of homosexuals, apostates and critics of Islam. All of this is part of orthodox Islam, not some “extremist” form of it.

If jihadists were actually “perverting a great religion”, Muslims would have been able to discredit them on Islamic grounds and they would have done so by now. The reason they can’t is because jihadists are acting according to the words of Allah, the Muslim God.”

CAIR-OK Executive Director Muneer Awad said politicians used fear-mongering and misinformation to scare Oklahomans into voting for the measure, which he claimed was in direct conflict with the U.S. Constitution.

Actually, Mr. Awad has it backwards. It is sharia law that is in direct conflict with the U.S. Constitution.

First, Sharia law at its core does not regard non-Muslims as equal citizens, but rather as dhimmis who are to be tolerated and protected under Islamic rule so long as they play by Islamic rules. Thus, Islamic law grants many privileges only to Muslims, and discriminates against non-believers.

Indeed, the Koran commands Muslims to

“[F]ight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book [Christians and Jews], until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.”

“It’s been buried in all of the Election Day reporting, but the voters of Oklahoma did something on Tuesday worthy of note. By a substantial margin, they approved a measure prohibiting judges from considering international law or sharia (Islamic law) when deciding cases. About 70 percent of voters Tuesday were in favor of this measure.

The purpose of the measure is to direct judges to exclusively use state and federal law to guide their judicial decisionmaking. The sponsor of the measure called it a “pre-emptive strike” designed to close the door on activist judges who use international law or sharia law in legislating from the bench.”

As terrible as it is for people to treat illegal immigrants badly – no excuse for that – it is more despicable for religious leaders to push followers to go where they are not welcome.

People must take responsibility for their actions. If you go where you are not welcome, if you disobey the laws, there are consequences.
