Imam’s Call to Add Crescent Moon Symbol to Russian Emblem Met With Alarm

“Was it a call to bring the revolts and violence of the “Arab Spring” now sweeping the Middle East to Russia?

That is the question that swirled throughout Moscow when a top imam called for the addition of the Islamic crescent moon symbol to the Russian emblem.

As quickly as the word of the proposal became public it ignited a wave of condemnation.

In his interview, Tadzhuddin said, “We are asking for one of the heads (of the Russian state emblem, a double-headed eagle) to be topped with a crescent moon and the other to be topped with a Russian Orthodox cross. All the crowns on the coat of arms — two on the heads of eagles and one above the middle — are topped by crosses. But Russia has 20 million Muslims. That is 18 percent of the population.”

Tadzhuddin also said that he had presented a sketch of the proposed change to both Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin. The Kremlin has not commented on the issue.”

Suspected al-Qaida members in Germany arrested; working on a bomb

KARLSRUHE, Germany -Three suspected al-Qaida members were working on a shrapnel-laden bomb in Germany to attack a crowded place such as a bus — a plot showing Europe faces a terror threat, officials said Saturday.

Law officials said the trio, arrested Friday after being under surveillance for months, hadn’t picked a target, but were experimenting with explosives and detonators.

The suspects are a Moroccan, a German with Moroccan citizenship, and a German with Iranian citizenship.

2005 London bombings a “natural consequence” of Britain’s policy of sheltering terrorists

The 2005 London bombings were a “natural consequence” of Britain’s policy of sheltering terrorists, and the U.K. government was warned in advance, newly leaked documents show.

WikiLeaks, London, bombings, train, terrorists, asylum, Islamic, immigrants, AP photoAmerican diplomats sent a cable just five days before the bombings saying Britain had ignored repeated warnings about the number of Islamic refugees making the country home, reports the Daily Telegraph.

Many of the refugees fled to England because they were wanted for terrorist outrages elsewhere, the cable, obtained by the website WikiLeaks, shows.

“The British thought that sheltering terrorists was a good solution, but they did not realize that one can never align oneself with the devil, and they did precisely that for years and years,” warned the Algerian.

The question is this: Will the US learn from Britain’s mistake – or repeat it?

NJ suburb sued over denial of mosque proposal

NEWARK — An Islamic group has sued a suburban town it says engaged in religious discrimination by abruptly changing zoning regulations to prevent the opening of a mosque.

Members of the Al Falah Center and local residents filed suit Tuesday in federal court in Trenton against Bridgewater Township’s mayor, council and planning officials.

The lawsuit says the sudden zoning changes thwarted plans the group had been working on, with the township’s knowledge, to convert a closed banquet hall in a mostly residential area into a mosque and community center. It accuses town officials of bowing to pressure from protesters and an anti-mosque Internet campaign.

Pakistan frees 5 accused in court-ordered gang rape

Yes, you read that right: a “court-ordered gang rape”.

A tribal council was assembled in Pakistan which ordered that a woman be punished for her brother’s illicit sex by being raped.

Why are American feminists silent about these outrages? Why are American liberals, who purport to place high value on women’s rights, silent about these outrages? Why are they not in the UN, demanding an end to these barbaric practices and attitudes?

Pakistan frees 5 accused in court-ordered gang rape

By SAEED SHAH

LAHORE, Pakistan – “Nine years after being gang-raped on the orders of a village council, Mukhtar Mai’s struggle for justice ended Thursday when Pakistan’s Supreme Court ordered five of the six accused to be freed.

… Critics say judges pander to Islamist hard-liners, particularly by their kid-glove treatment of alleged jihadist terrorists, a cause for concern in Washington…

A tribal council was assembled from Khaliq’s clan, which ordered that Mai be punished for her brother’s illicit sex by being raped, on the basis of eye-for-an-eye justice.

Khaliq forced Mai into a stable at gunpoint, where he and other clan members raped her. She then was paraded naked around the village. Tradition dictated that Mai commit suicide, as the shame supposedly fell on her, but she decided to fight her tormentors.

The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, an independent organization, recorded 791 honor killings of women in 2010; at least 26 of the women were raped or gang-raped before being killed. Rape is rarely reported, but at least 2,903 women did come forward with rape complaints last year, according to the group.

Radical Islam’s increasing power – Egypt and Iran

“Egypt’s new government is choosing to reestablish diplomatic ties and align itself with Iran, according to breaking news reports. This threatens the delicate balance in the Middle East and could spell disaster for Israel, our greatest ally in the region.

If Egypt, which has been Israel’s only ally in the Middle East, establishes diplomatic ties with Iran, the sworn enemy of Israel, it would tip the balance of power in the Middle East in favor of Iran and radical Islam.

Knowing and understanding this threat is critical to our ability to confront it.”

Wikileaks: Why the Americans were angry at British authorities

“The files help to explain American anger towards the British authorities, who have been regularly accused of failing to tackle radicalisation in this country.

The top-secret documents show how Muslim men travelled to European countries such as France, from where they obtained fake EU passports. They then crossed the channel to take advantage of Britain’s generous asylum system.

Extremist preachers radicalised the men at London mosques.”

WikiLeaks: British taxpayers’ money bankrolled al-Qaeda aide Mullan Haji Rohullah

“British taxpayers’ money was used to bankroll an Afghan politician who was sent to Guantánamo Bay after being exposed as an al-Qaeda aide. Mullan Haji Rohullah received more than £300,000 to destroy his opium crop – but he sold the drugs and kept the money from the Department for International Development.

Four of the Guantánamo detainees were “British intelligence sources” who betrayed their paymasters.”

How many times do we have to be betrayed before we learn? Will our leaders ever grasp the concept of taqiyya? Will they stop being gullible buffoons and start taking serious measures to protect our citizens? Will they pay attention to the words of the Fort Hood killer, who said, “I am a Muslim first and an American second.”? Of what value is an oath of allegiance from someone who has already sworn allegiance to Allah?

Wikileaks: Terrorist recruits flocked to London to claim asylum

“Terrorist recruits from across Africa and the Middle East flocked to London to claim asylum, often after travelling through other European countries. Sixteen detainees sent back to Britain are regarded as “high risk” by the US authorities and are liable to plan attacks against the West. However, they have been paid a reported £1 million each in compensation by the Government.”

Great Britain not only took them terrorist in, but supported them, all in the name of tolerance and multi-culturalism. Is the US going to learn from their mistake or repeat it?
