“Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad stepped up his verbal assault against the United States and Israel by issuing a call to “bury†the U.S. leadership in the wake of military threats from Washington to impair Tehran’s nuclear programme.
“May the undertaker bury you, your table and your body, which has soiled the world,†said Mr. Ahamdinejad, using unusually harsh language. Mr. Ahmadinejad made these remarks on Sunday on the outskirts of Tehran in front of crowds which included a large number of armed forces personnel.
A string of U.S. leaders has on regular intervals said all options, including a military option, are on the table to curb Iran’s atomic programme.”
